Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School has a long-established partnership arrangement with Ivanhoe Aqua Power (IAP). IAP is a Swimming Victoria-registered club, operating onsite at the Ivanhoe Girls' Aquatic Centre. IAP offers a social, competitive and fun swimming club environment, with a number of membership types available to suit most needs.
A dedicated team of ASCTA accredited Bronze and Silver level coaches are responsible for facilitating squad sessions, while a friendly committee of volunteers can assist in answering any questions you may have.
Squad training is offered to members of IAP who satisfy the club's entry level requirements, however this does not preclude students from joining as a recreational member while they complete the Ivanhoe Girls' Aquatics learn to swim program.
Membership to IAP entitles the swimmer to entry into the club's Personal Best (PB) nights, where students can gain times for individual and group events, while also participating in any social activities occurring after formal proceedings.
For students currently enrolled in the Ivanhoe Girls' Aquatics program, referrals into the IAP 'Junior Squad' program can be made once a student has satisfied all criteria within the 45min Pre-Squad program.
